The media has in print negative express of Bandar's whereabouts for almost three months.According to al-Faqih, Bandar first disappeared in Britain but he returned to the realm shortly afterwards.Al-Faqih supposed people close to the king had exposed Bandar's plots and foiled them.He supposed Saudi sources believe that intelligence provided by certain Arab countries helped the Saudi ruler foil Prince Bandar's conspiracy.

9 11Bandar was Saudi Ambassador to the USA.

Al Yamamah

According to Wikipedia, Bandar helped negotiate the 1985 Al Yamamah deal, a series of massive weapons sales by the United Kingdom to Saudi Arabia value GB£40 billion (US$80 billion), including the sale of additional than 100 warplanes.
